Editorial standards
Every page here is written to be useful whether or not you ever call anyone. That is not altruism — it is the only version of this that works long term.
Where the geology comes from
Province-level geology, bedrock formations and karst characterisation are taken from USGS Water-Resources Investigations Report 97-4097, Characteristics of Karst Aquifers in Tennessee, and from the Tennessee Division of Geology. We describe regional conditions, never your specific lot.
Where the pricing comes from
Cost ranges are compiled from published Tennessee contractor pricing and updated annually. They are ranges, not quotes, and the spread is wide because the work genuinely varies. We update the year label only when we have re-checked the underlying numbers.
What we will not do
- We do not invent reviews, testimonials or case studies.
- We do not claim a Tennessee street address or a physical presence we do not have.
- We do not use countdown timers, fake scarcity or invented "only 3 slots left" pressure.
- We do not publish a page whose only purpose is to rank. If it would not help a homeowner who never calls, it does not go up.
Corrections
If something here is wrong, we want to know and we will fix it and say that we did. Guides carry a visible last-updated date.
